Glitter & Glam

Phew......

Am I ever glad that's over!

It's done!

Everything is moved, house is set up, studio is finished!

(This is the point where all of my Facebook friends & family breathe a sigh of relief, cuz man, are they ever sick of listening to me talk about moving!)

Finally- it's time to create something in my beautiful new studio.

My first-ever new-studio project is today's new challenge from ScrapFit.

It's called Glitter & Glam and it's all about all things girly.

LOVE IT!

There are some gorgeous, gorgeous projects HERE for you to check out, and here's mine:

I un-earthed this tin in my unpacking process and decided that I needed to do something with it.
It kinda reminded me of my Grandad's lunch box, so I took it as a personal challenge to girl-ify it.
Some pink paper, ribbon, tulle, marabou & glitter, and a manly-looking lunch box is now a purse!

And as every girl knows, when you have a purse, you must have something to put in it.
Since I don't have any money to go inside, a mini accordion album is the next best thing.

I just love this velvet flower ribbon.  I know I got it at an LSS, but have had it a while & have no idea who makes it.
(If you know, please please email me & let me know.  I'd love to get my hands on some more of it!)
I added some mini-bling for some sparkle, which totally convinced me that an I-Rock is going to be my next tool purchase.

The flower centers are buttons from Coats & Clark.
They look all metal & sparkly & formal, but really, they're plastic & super light weight.
Perfect for a project like this.

I had to get the tulle in there on at least 1 page.
A girl can never have enough tulle!

Supplies: PP: DCWV All Dressed Up Stack, Cardstock: Core'dinations, Flowers: Prima, Shimmer Spray-homemade, trims-various, Other: Stickles

Fun, fun project.
My layouts lately tend to be super-simple, clean line styled, so it was fun to do something frilly & girly.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Check back tomorrow.  I'm going to post photos of the new studio.

Have a happy March1!
